Our dedicated focus on the control & automation market has meant we've helped clients find Control Engineers for a wide range of sectors such as water treatment works, smart manufacturing factories using the latest IoT, 5G and MES technology stacks or a pick & place robotic system used in high speed FMCG production environments.

Skills needed

  • Control Engineers we represent are often skilled in the latest offerings from vendors such as Rockwell, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron, B&R, Beckhoff, AutoCAD, EPLAN or SolidWorks. Control Engineers we work with are also often up to date on the safety aspects of control systems so will be well versed in standards such as ISO13849 and the machine safety directive.
  • We work with formerly trained experienced Control Engineers who are often Degree qualified, some have an MSc or a PhD, some have Chartered status. We also help apprentice trained and entry-level graduate engineers along their first career steps.
  • Control Engineers we typically work with are strong PLC and SCADA programmers as well as skilled Electrical hardware design engineers using CAD packages such as AutoCAD, EPLAN or SolidWorks. The experienced Control Engineers we work with typically have full project life cycle experience so often run with multiple projects from start to finish.
  • Control Engineers we’ve introduced to our clients over the years have understood PLC and 3rd Party communication systems where they can design interfaces from both hardware and software perspectives. They’ve often worked with OT, OT security, MES and cyber security solutions.
