Electrical Design Engineer

Electrical Design Engineer – Special Purpose Machinery -North Yorkshire – Permanent – EPLAN or AutoCAD – £45-55k DOE

Samuel Frank is recruiting for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer ideally with EPLAN experience (Electrical Design Engineers with AutoCAD Electrical experience willing to cross train may also be suitable) to join a very successful special purpose machine manufacturer in North Yorkshire.

Key aspects of the Electrical Design Engineer role include –

• Experienced in the innovative design of industrial automation in a manufacturing environment and the generation and verification of electrical design documents e.g. wiring diagrams, cable schedules, parts lists etc.
• Interpretation of customer requirements and presentation of design solutions
• Knowledge of British and international standards relative to the design and installation of industrial automation systems.
• Experience of conducting assessments and generating technical documents in accordance with the Machinery Directive and other British and international standards
• This position will suit an innovator who is constantly looking for solutions that give maximum value.
• Preferably a ‘Time Served’ Electrical Engineer.
• Ideally HNC / HND or Degree qualified in Electrical / Electronic Engineering.

The office is commutable from the following locations – North Leeds, Selby, Wetherby, Harrogate, York, Pontefract and Wakefield.
