Service Engineer – West Yorkshire – Team Leader – £40-45k + overtime + 25 days holiday + pool van – UK coverage

Samuel Frank is recruiting for an experienced Service Engineer to join a special purpose machine manufacturer based in West Yorkshire as a Lead Service Engineer / Service Team Leader in a commercially focused role.

Key aspects of the Lead Service Engineer role include –

• Opportunity to grow the service team and improve service turnover whilst taking next steps into a lead position
• Service Engineers applying could be from either an electrical or mechanical background (to Level 3 apprenticeship in mechanical, electrical or installation/service engineer or equivalent)
• Lead a small team of Service Engineers and be involved technically with regular site work
• Plan and manage the schedule for the service team to ensure the teams capacity is well utilised
• Identify opportunities for upselling and upgrades and involve Sales team with identified opportunities, including refurbishments and new equipment
• Ensure team members are fully inducted, trained and fully utilised
• IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent H&S Qualification – ideal
• Previous experience of working in a supervisory role
• Prepare RAMS
• Experienced in schedule planning, selling, training and providing costings.
• Full UK driving licence – essential
• Inspect site work, carry out surveys and maintain service stock
• Complete team appraisals
