Sales Engineer – Yorkshire – Bespoke Machinery

Sales Engineer – will suit 0-18 months experience – North Yorkshire – £30-35k + 10% bonus

Samuel Frank is recruiting for a Sales Engineer to join a North Yorkshire based special purpose machine manufacturer to be part of generating new sales revenue from existing customers. The preference is for the successful Sales Engineer to work from the office for a period of time whilst training is provided, once up and running the person could work on a hybrid basis.

Key aspects of the Sales Engineer role include;

• Contact and work with existing customers to identify opportunities to sell replacements for obsolete parts, or solutions to improve energy consumption or health checks on bespoke machinery in the field
• Carry out analysis of data and identify sales prospects
• Bring enthusiasm, energy and a positive attitude to the position – the Sales Engineer role will suit a self-starter who is keen on building their own reputation and someone who would relish the opportunity to progress into a full Business Development person
• Identify key decision makers, build relationships with them and identify any potential needs
• A sales mind-set is key – identify a clients’ needs and provide a solution that works for all parties through building partnerships and being a 1^st class communicator

The client is very well established and extremely well regarded in the area and whilst their premises are commutable from the following locations; Leeds, Selby, Wetherby, Harrogate, Ripon, York, Pontefract, Doncaster, Hull / East Yorkshire and Wakefield, the role could be worked on a hybrid basis when the successful Sales Engineer is settled in.
