Field Service Engineer – West Yorkshire – Mechanically Biased – £38-40k + overtime + 25 days holiday + access to pool van – UK coverage

Samuel Frank is recruiting for a mechanically biased Field Service Engineer to join a special purpose machine manufacturer based in West Yorkshire.

The successful Field Service Engineer is likely to have had experience of working in food manufacturing environments or pharmaceutical production.

Key aspects of the Field Service Engineer role include –

  • The company is easily commutable from large parts of West Yorkshire including places such as Leeds, Bradford, Keighley, Ilkley, Skipton, Shipley, Halifax and Otley – when the successful Service Engineer isn’t out on customer sites, they’ll be based on the shopfloor in West Yorkshire
  • Field Service Engineers applying are likely to be mechanically biased, with some electrical appreciation/knowledge
  • Knowledge of working in food factory environments – strongly preferred
  • Growing company – over 25% increase in year-on-year turnover
  • Hours worked over and above the standard 37.3/week are paid overtime
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and upgrades and involve Sales team with identified opportunities, including refurbishments and new equipment.
  • IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent H&S Qualification – ideal
  • Prepare RAMS
  • Full UK driving licence – essential
  • Inspect site work, carry out surveys and maintain service stock
  • The company has been established for over 40 years and is a well-known brand in their market, known for manufacturing high-quality, long-lasting machines.
  • All Field Service Engineer applicants must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship.
