We've been recruiting Project Managers in the automation & control market since 2012. We recognise Project Management assignments come in all shapes and sizes so our experience of asking the right questions and listening to our clients and candidates is vital. We understand that the size, complexity, safety aspects, budget management, location, team sizes, equipment involved, deliverables & personalities are all variables. We've worked with some of the biggest brands in the world and helped them deliver their industrial control projects by delivering high quality, high performing Project Managers to them. We have experience of placing trained Project Managers in a host of different sectors including smart manufacturing, system integration, IoT and in the nuclear sector.

Skills needed

  • Successful Project Managers we’ve represented have often had to be all-rounders. They need to be organised, commercially aware, personable, able to persuade, negotiate, good at managing budgets, strong schedulers and fantastic planners, the list goes on!
  • Compliance is often a key part of Project Management, whether it be safety or regulatory compliance, the Project Manager must make sure the project is open to and will pass all compliance checks. It could be an ISO standard for a bespoke machine, a hygienic design standard for a food production plant or knowledge of the ATEX directive to ensure the team is safe when working with explosives or explosive atmospheres.
  • Project Managers often come well qualified. Their qualifications and accreditations could range from a Degrees, MBAs or an MSc or a specific project management qualification like PRINCE2, APM or PMQ.
